Reuters separately confirmed US officials met Houthi representatives at the US Embassy in Muscat over the weekend. With Wang Yi pressing Araghchi in Beijing, three mediation tracks are now live simultaneously, even as the Saudi-Yemen front escalated sharply and a US-contracted tanker was struck near Hormuz.
Is the direct US-Iran channel real?
Trump's claim (cross-bloc relay, 22:30-23:39Z) is **single-source** until Tehran speaks; Rezaei's "no talks until conditions met" line stands unwithdrawn.
